The Board of Management is responsible for the running of the school. It is made up of eight people and is representative of the various partners of education. The Board is elected every four years.

The Board of Management of Scoil Iósaf has two Bishop’s nominees, two parents – elected by the general body of parents; two teachers – principal teacher and one teacher elected by the teaching staff; two persons chosen from the local community. The members of the present Board of Management are:
