We loved learning about schools of the past last week. We learned about life in school in the past and how different yet similar school was years ago. The girls became historians where they had look for clues in the school that gave them hints about life in the past. They looked at photos, plagues , artifacts, murals, old stories etc. One activity which fascinated the girls the most was looking through the old Rolla books. These were the attendance records used in the past. They found relatives, friends and even some teachers popped up! They really enjoyed learning about the history of their school.
