The history of Scoil Iósaf !
We loved learning about schools of the past last week. We learned about life in school in the past and how different yet similar school was years ago. The girls became historians where they had look for clues in the school that gave them hints about life in the past....
Mother’s day Art
We got to practice our sewing skills in fourth class for Mother's Day crafts. The girls made beautiful cards by sewing wool onto card. Look at the lovely results. Hope all the moms loved these!
Outdoor fun with maths!
The girls in 4th had great fun learning "length" in maths. They did a range of activities outside measuring various objects using different equipment. Well done!
WORLD BOOK DAY!
Scoil Iósaf celebrates "World Book Day"! Both teachers and pupils had great fun dressing up as their favourite characters from books! Here you can see the 4th class girls and their teacher posing for WWD!! Great fun!
Lá glás!
Some of the winners from 3rd and 4th class who won prizes for seachtain na gaelige. All classes participated and there was winners from every class! Well done to all! Tá gach duine ar fheabhas ar fad!
Cluichí sa rang agus sa chlós!
Bhí rang a ceathair an -ghnothach i rith an seachtain. Bhí cluichí sa rang agus sa chlós gach lá. D'imiríomar " Cén t-am é, a mhactíre?" agus "Charades" as gaelige sa rang. Bhí sé go hiontach ar fad!
Ceilí Mór sa halla!
Tá seachtain na gaeilge ar siúl anois ! Bhí ceilí mór againn sa halla idir rang a sé agus rang a ceathair. Bhí na rinceoirí ag damhsa le chéile agus bhí an spóirt acu! Bhí siad go hiontach ar fad!
Swimming!
3rd and 4th class girls have started their six week Aquatics program in Killeline Leisure Centre. The course is for both beginners and more experienced swimmers and covers all bases of the aquatics curriculum. Great success and fun on our first week back!
